Admission to IIT Classroom Programme will be in two modes
 
Based on admission-cum-scholarship test, pattern of which would be as follows:-
  Paper Subject Duration  
1. Aptitude Test (objective) 30 Minutes
2. Physics, Chemistry, Maths 90 Minutes
 
  For test date and batch kindly contact the centre.
 
Registration Procedure
 
     
Fill in the application on the prescribed form along with one recent passport size colour photograph, a photocopy of the mark sheet of your last examination and Rs. 100/- as registration fee for the admission-cum-scholarship test by cash.
 
Last Date to Regiter
  (In person): one day prior to the admission test date.
 
Direct Admission
  The following students are entitled to take direct admission in the courses listed below:-
 
Those scoring more than 90% in X / XII board exams (Last appeared exam)  
IIT-JEE/AIEEE - 2009 qualified (upto rank 5500)  
DCE – 2009 qualified (upto rank 2000)  
 
     
Scholerships
There are two categories of scholarships:
A. Merit Scholarship:
 
 
1.Based on X board exams results:
 
    Aggregate (%) Scholarship  
    Above 90 15%    
    85 – 90 % 10%    
 
 
2. Based on XII board exam results:
 
    Marks Scholarship  
    Above 90% 15%    
    85 – 90 % 10%    
 
3. Based on Scholarship test:
  Admission-cum-Scholarship Test: Scholarships are awarded upto 15% of the tuition fee on the basis of performance in admission-cum-scholarship test for specified classroom programmes.
 
Test Pattern:
One-year / two-year classroom programmes:
 
  Aptitude test (Objective) – 30 Minutes
  PCM (Objective) - 90 Minutes
Three-year / four-year / foundation classroom programmes:
  Aptitude test (Objective) – 30 Minutes
  Science and Maths (Objective) - 90 Minutes
B. Special Scholarships:
Scholarship of 10% of tuition fee will be given to the following:
 
  a. Wards of defence personnel / Ex-servicemen
 
  b. Girl Students
 
  c. Physically Challenged Students
 
  d. NTSE scholarship holders
 
  e. Siblings of enrolled students
 
Notes:
1. If a student is eligible for scholarship under more than one category, the total scholarship will not
  exceed more than 15% of the tuition fees.
2. A valid proof in form of supporting documents for availing the scholarship is to be submitted at the
  time of admission.
